Tips for making a effective sales

Every individual don’t have the quality to become a sales person. This vary from person interest. Most of us don’t know about the selling process. How actually sales take place ?  .Well there are certain elements of sales take place when go into the market to make a sale.If you don’t follow them they are as follows:

New Opportunity: A sales person always looking for opportunityto meet it customers. A sales never  /her customers. He should take an appointment before meeting a customer saying “Hello Mr. john I f you don’t mind can I disturb you right now” . Let your customer take the decisions. Finding a new opportunity would be hard but you must try to adjust with the situations.

pre-approach: Before you are calling or meeting your customer. you should have a detailed information about your customers. In what categories he/she is interested, what time you can meet him. for this you should maintain a database before you contact your customers. There are various software application avaliable on internet to manage your customer record in a database. Suppose if you call a customer say Mr.X . Using the database you will come to know that Mr.X  is a Software engg . He don’t have a car and bla bla….. All these information will going to help you maintain a good relations with your customers. Many students after finishing their graduation start receiving calls for job. The job agencies get the information from various Colleges. In this way the information is collected. You might have noticed that when you visit any event, the organisers ask you to fill up a form. This how the information is collected . they come to know your interest. What is your monthly income.

Initial communication: After you have contacted your customer and he/she is agree for a meet. Then it is important you take all the stuff with you to satisfy your customers. It is not 100% sure that your assumed customer will going to buy your services. You have to clear all the questioners of your customers. Your customer will going to compare you with your competitor. Your aim is just to satisfy his needs at best . You have to stabilize your communication with your customers.

Interview : When you go for a interview with a customer. It is very much different from the interview for a job.  You have to develop a friendly environment with customer. The customer will going to ask lots of questions generating in his mind. You have to answer those question in a friendly mind. Any misunderstanding will not going create friendly relation.  You will going to motivate your client towards the products benefits. I myself being a customer meet lots of salesmen daily. I try to compare their service with their competitor. Your service may have certain drawbacks, but keep trying to motivate your customers constantly. Highlight your positive or beneficial points to your customers.

Negotiation In many cases I have seen a customer who is interested to purchase your product or services but somewhat not satisfied with the price or price don’t match with his/her budget will start negotiation with you. If you are selling a branded product then the price change will not be in your hand. Customer have to buy it at a fixed product. If you have the power to change the price and there is not much demand for the product in  the market, customer find more possibility for a decrease in the prices.
