Sales is the one of the hard job to done on the field. Some companies put lot of pressure on their sales force to achieve the target. Taking lot of stress and tension in the mind may not motivate your sales force to achieve its target. The company should keep reminding the business model of the company in the minds of the sales and marketing department. A very well understand of product and consumer will make them realize them to identify the right target clients present in the market. This is the key factor assisting the sales force to achieve their targets and meet company objectives. Once the client is identified very well. The company to train his sales forces to meet the requirements of the consumers. Today the requirement of the consumer is very flexible. Therefore, the product has to be flexible so as to satisfy the consumer at right time and force him to purchase the product of the company. The time product is purchased it means the hard work and strategies has been successful.

Word of mouth advertising is happened when two or more people start doing conversation among their friends. This converation could be related to any topic, even about your business. Now it the responsibility of advertising guy to deliver a message to target audience and the conversation will start taking place among the people over your product or even your competitor… It is not necessary that they will always talk positive about your product and service.

His plans call for two 14 story animated billboards to be built on condos set for construction downtown. Is it amazing and innovative concept in advertising world.
A large number of people would be able to view the billboard. From the building to the distance… It would look like an image from distance… giving a amazing look. I don’t know the exact cost for this advertising. But It will definitely get the large number of exposure from a single billboard.

In today’s lecture I learned that a business model is very important to develop a success business. There was a time when marketing specialist don’t play a vital role in promotions and selling of product and service, because the demand is already exist in market. Ford earlier automobile manufacture company was having the technology in his hand and demand for car was a craze.
Now there is a high competition in the field on automobile. There numerous companies who manufacture millions of automobile. When there is a competition in the market, companies work hard to develop a good business model & returning maximum profits. In case a business model fails, then the company have to face huge losses in future.
A synthesis of literature shows that there are mainly 9 building blocks to help us describe a business model:
The value proposition of what is offered to the market;
The target customer segments addressed by the value proposition;
The communication and distribution channels to reach customers and offer the value proposition;
The relationships established with customers;
The core capabilities needed to make the business model possible;
The configuration of activities to implement the business model;
The partners and their motivations of coming together to make a business model happen;
The revenue streams generated by the business model constituting the revenue model;
The cost structure resulting of the business model.
 These nine points are followed by any enterprise to run a profitable business.
Firstly a Business decide what is to be offered to the clients / customers.
Secondly, Business do the segmentation of its targeted customers. Its important to focus on customer who are interested in your product and services. We should not waste much time on those customers who just visit and don’t make a purchase again and again. But we should even ignore them, because they could be our customers in future, depend upon the economic situation / purchasing power of the customers.
Before we start any business its important to know the amount of revenue generation by the business model depending upon the cost structure.Â
We should not target that segment of the country where there is zero for product and services. A brief analysis/ market research should be done over the demand of the product and service will be offered to the customers.

Every individual don’t have the quality to become a sales person. This vary from person interest. Most of us don’t know about the selling process. How actually sales take place ?  .Well there are certain elements of sales take place when go into the market to make a sale.If you don’t follow them they are as follows:
New Opportunity: A sales person always looking for opportunityto meet it customers. A sales never /her customers. He should take an appointment before meeting a customer saying “Hello Mr. john I f you don’t mind can I disturb you right now” . Let your customer take the decisions. Finding a new opportunity would be hard but you must try to adjust with the situations.
pre-approach: Before you are calling or meeting your customer. you should have a detailed information about your customers. In what categories he/she is interested, what time you can meet him. for this you should maintain a database before you contact your customers. There are various software application avaliable on internet to manage your customer record in a database. Suppose if you call a customer say Mr.X . Using the database you will come to know that Mr.X  is a Software engg . He don’t have a car and bla bla….. All these information will going to help you maintain a good relations with your customers. Many students after finishing their graduation start receiving calls for job. The job agencies get the information from various Colleges. In this way the information is collected. You might have noticed that when you visit any event, the organisers ask you to fill up a form. This how the information is collected . they come to know your interest. What is your monthly income.
Initial communication: After you have contacted your customer and he/she is agree for a meet. Then it is important you take all the stuff with you to satisfy your customers. It is not 100% sure that your assumed customer will going to buy your services. You have to clear all the questioners of your customers. Your customer will going to compare you with your competitor. Your aim is just to satisfy his needs at best . You have to stabilize your communication with your customers.
Interview : When you go for a interview with a customer. It is very much different from the interview for a job. You have to develop a friendly environment with customer. The customer will going to ask lots of questions generating in his mind. You have to answer those question in a friendly mind. Any misunderstanding will not going create friendly relation. You will going to motivate your client towards the products benefits. I myself being a customer meet lots of salesmen daily. I try to compare their service with their competitor. Your service may have certain drawbacks, but keep trying to motivate your customers constantly. Highlight your positive or beneficial points to your customers.
Negotiation In many cases I have seen a customer who is interested to purchase your product or services but somewhat not satisfied with the price or price don’t match with his/her budget will start negotiation with you. If you are selling a branded product then the price change will not be in your hand. Customer have to buy it at a fixed product. If you have the power to change the price and there is not much demand for the product in the market, customer find more possibility for a decrease in the prices.

PR mean Public relation. Most of the time a PR editors writes on topics which are interesting to their readers. It should be beneficial to his/her readers . Any new innovation or service story which attract the maximum number of reader will going to attract a PR editor. To create a successful Press release you should send story every month to a PR editor desk. Your story may not be accepted by a PR editor every time. It depends upon his/her interest. Don’t send continuous number of stories to a PR editor. He may don’t it and consider it as spam stories. PR editors are always busy because they receive number of copies every month on their desk. So it become hard to manage all those stuff at a time. On other hand they also have to submit their story to the press and publish.
